چکیده

We investigate a two-species competition model in advective homogeneous environments. assume that the two species are identical except their diffusion rates and advection rates. It is worth noting Neumann boundary condition assumed at upstream end, meanwhile, there always net loss of individuals incurred by water flow or both diffusive movements downstream end. Our results show when large (incurred movements), adopting slower can be favorable unfavorable depending on gap between When small alone), combination faster weak will persist while movement for to survive

Global dynamics of a discrete two-species Lottery-Ricker competition model.

In this article, we study the global dynamics of a discrete two-dimensional competition model. We give sufficient conditions on the persistence of one species and the existence of local asymptotically stable interior period-2 orbit for this system. Moreover, we show that for a certain parameter range, there exists a compact interior attractor that attracts all interior points except Lebesgue me...

A Two - Species Competition Model

We consider a two-type stochastic competition model on the integer lattice Z. The model describes the space evolution of two “species” competing for territory along their boundaries. Each site of the space may contain only one representative (also referred to as a particle) of either type. The spread mechanism for both species is the same: each particle produces offspring independently of other...

Global Dynamics of a Chemostat Competition Model with Distributed Delay

We study the global dynamics of n-species competition in a chemo-stat with distributed delay describing the time-lag involved in the conversion of nutrient to viable biomass. The delay phenomenon is modelled by the gamma distribution. The linear chain trick and a uctuation lemma are applied to obtain the global limiting behavior of the model. When each population can survive if it is cultured a...
